Marlon serves as our pre-litigation attorney for matters involving auto accidents, wrongful deaths, slip and falls, dog bites, premise liability matters, and additional experience with landlord-tenant matters.

He is our youngest attorney at 28 years old as of 2025. Marlon stresses the importance of politics and how it affects the practice of law. Originally, Marlon never wanted to attend law school, instead he wanted to move to Washington DC and work on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Aide. Now, he hopes one day he can use his legal background to represent the people of the San Fernando Valley on Capitol Hill.

Marlon has worked in PI firms since 2017 while he was a full time student at the University of California, Santa Barbara—where he attended for all 4 years on a full ride scholarship. There he obtained his Bachelor’s in Political Science and Philosophy. Given Marlon’s love of public speaking and achievements as a bombastic orator in the high school debate circuit, he joined UCSB’s Mock Trial team for 3 years, where he was part of the first ever team to attend Nationals while serving as the 4th Vice President. He also interned from 2017-2019 with the boutique, personal injury firm Maho & Prentice, LLP in downtown Santa Barbara. In 2018, Marlon served as the public engagement intern for the newly created Isla Vista Community Services District, a new local government body for the infamous, college-town adjacent to UCSB. Later, he joined the UCDC Washington Program’s Fall Cohort, where he lived in the Capitol, working as a Congressional intern for Congressman Raul Ruiz, MD during his Fall Quarter, senior year.

After graduating in 2019 after 4 wild, awe-inspiring years in Santa Barbara, he worked full time as an intake specialist for Bauman Law, APLC. Unhappy with the job, he joined BLOCK LLP in February 2021 where the founding partners quickly become like mentors to him. He attended Southwestern Law School from September 2021 to May 2023 where he and his study-mates quickly gained a reputation for being knowledgeable, easy-going students. He worked part time for BLOCK until February 2023. After obtaining his Juris Doctor in May 2023, he took the Bar Exam in July with the same core group of friends and similarly were all sworn in together on December 2nd.

Marlon is not only the first in his family to graduate from a university, he is also the family’s first lawyer. Marlon thanks his core friends from law school for being inspirational role models, his parents for immigrating from El Salvador and Guatemala to the USA, his friends for emotional support, and to Tigran Martinian for giving a young, eclectic attorney the chance to make a difference.
