Anush Melkonyan is an associate attorney at Martinian Lawyers. Her area of practice includes personal injury, premises liability and criminal defense.

She studied at Yerevan State University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Armenia, majoring in Spanish language and literature.

After settling down in the United States and working as a certified paralegal for 13 years she determined to finally pursue her dream of becoming an attorney. Ms. Melkonyan obtained her Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law. The law license gave her the long-lasting opportunity to help others with their legal needs and to further the public good. To her, working as a lawyer is one of the most challenging and intellectually rewarding jobs on the planet.

During her studies in law school, she was awarded certificates for her outstanding academic performance in Contracts, Professional Responsibility of Attorneys, Evidence, and Appellate Advocacy. During her tenure in law school, she was also named recipient of Scholarship America.

Ms. Melkonyan, in addition to being licensed to practice before all the state courts in California, is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California, and United States District Court, District of Columbia. She is a member of the Armenian Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).

In her leisure, Ms. Melkonyan enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and traveling.
