Kidnapping and attempted kidnapping is a very serious offense. Any removal of an individual against their will could result in a federal conviction. As these crimes can be investigated by agencies like the Federal Bureau of Investigation, it is important that you have strong legal representation if you are accused of such a crime. Aggravated kidnapping involves another crime like rape or robbery and could lead to up to twenty years in prison.
